Immersive Afro-rooted experience design
Meru Hills invited us to help turn their ten acre farm stay in the heart of rural Kenya into a complete world that guests can step into. We designed the full ecosystem of the experience, from how the packaged tour is framed to how each part of the land is introduced.
The retreat now feels like a gentle portal out of city life and into village life. Guests arrive along a tree lined drive, then move through orchards, beehives, gardens and water spaces that are curated to tell the story of the land, the family and the wider culture around Mount Kenya.
Every moment is intentional. The way a host explains the farm. The route of the guided walk. The places where you sit under trees or by the fields and talk with local staff and neighbours. The aim is simple. Help people disconnect from noise and reconnect with what it feels like to live close to the land and to be in real conversation with a Kenyan community.

Nomadic Star was founded by a capital markets professional with over 15 years of experience in global finance. That background exposed the machinery of money and narrative, showing that those who control the story shape the future.
